Abstract: What effects does the agricultural and subsidy policy of Austria and the EU have on rural development in developing countries such as Burkina Faso and what lessons can be learned from this? For example, are the framework conditions in Austria and at European level sufficient to coordinate different interests and policy areas so that they meet development policy objectives? These central questions are the focus of our brochure titled "The Unfair Milk - Agrarian and Development Policy in Conflict?"
