Abstract: 2008: On the 12th of June this year, the Irish people will be asked to vote on the Lisbon Treaty. Just before that, at the end of May, the Irish government will host a major diplomatic conference, the aim of which is to negotiate a treaty to ban the manufacture, use or stockpiling of cluster munitions.
