Abstract: This publication argues that the strategic use of information and communication tools and techniques can improve the chances of success of Poverty Reduction Strategies (PRSs). It aims to demonstrate to policymakers how strategic communication can help them achieve their objectives in formulating and executing effective PRSs and provides guidance to technocrats and officials actively engaged in the implementation of Poverty Reduction Strategy Papers (PRSPs) on best practices and lessons from a worldwide community of practice.
