Abstract: Senior managers were invited to reflect on and share their experiences of shaping 'a global university' in this publication. It illustrates the value of 'global perspectives' to the purpose of HEIs as global institutions. In presenting within one publication a number of issues that are often treated seperately (internationalisation, sustainable development and global citizenship) wider discussion has been promoted on the role of global citizenship and sustainable development in higher education.
