CIDSE - together for global justice

Abstract: The report shows how CIDSE members and partners in Southern and Northern countries joined hands in 2012 to build a more sustainable and equitable world. Together with Church leaders and civil society partners, CIDSE worked hard to create the right space for world leaders to discuss ways to move towards a more sustainable model of development at the UN Rio+20 conference. The Summit also marked the halfway point of the CIDSE Strategic Framework and its weak outcomes made us acutely aware that there remains an enormous amount to do. But there were some positive policy developments in 2012 which must also be acknowledged and applauded.
