Abstract: Refugee Rights Europe’s first qualitative report The Unknown Knowns, contains observations from five discrete settlements dotted around the Calais region. This report sheds light on living conditions within the smaller camps, and raises serious concerns about human rights infringements and unmet humanitarian standards.
