Abstract: From Poverty to Prosperity (P2P) is very original project between the UK, Bulgaria, Hungary and Ghana. Your students will explore the links between biodiverty and poverty. You can relay on the P2P Teacher Training Pack and the P2P Teacher Training Presentation that can also be dowloaded. Thanks to detailed lessons plans, your students will be encouraged to understand how their actions on the environment can either aggravate or alleviate poverty as well as how the conservation of biodiversity is key for meeting the needs of both developing country and EU citizens. Two "Challenge Packs" exist: "Biodiversity and Poverty" and "Climate Change and Economy".
