Abstract: This report presents the findings from our research study funded by the Department for International Development (UK). Our fist-year research mandate was to explore the perceived impact of partnerships on schools, leaders, teachers and students. The task was to develop a better understanding of the types of schools that were engaging in partnerships, their characteristics, implementation and leadership strategies. This is a preliminary piece of research on the landscape, practice and impact of partnerships in the UK, Africa and Asia.
