DEEEP
Abstract: The need to address development education and awareness raising (DEAR) in a systematic and strategic way is increasingly recognised by a broad range of state- and non-state actors in Europe. This publication documents various approaches to development education strategies, highlighting successes but also challenges. National strategies are discussed through the examples of Czech Republic, Portugal, Poland and UK. Furthermore, it contains a proposition for a European development education strategy and a reflection from Norway on the place of DEAR within the aid system. This thematic dossier is published by DEEEP in cooperation with the CONCORD DARE Forum. It complies with the CONCORD code of conduct on images and messages
